Captain Ed’s Fire Safety Book

Written by: Retired Fire Captain Ed Onishenko
Illustrated by Deidra Evans

Fire safety is so important for any age. This book combines accurate rhyming language with clear and simple pictures.

I loved this book as soon as I opened it. How brilliant to rhyme through fire safety. It makes it easier for kids to remember what to do. Some pages have bold red all caps to highlight especially important keywords. An excellent addition to any library.

Recommended for ages 4-8

Obviously this book serves well in any Fire Safety unit, but it also might be really interesting to have your students come up with their own safety rhymes and put them into a book.
